About Our Speakers: 


Chris Mayo, CFA, Head of Primary Markets, Americas, London Stock Exchange 

Chris helps companies from the Americas access capital through equity listings on London’s public markets and has helped more than a hundred companies from the Americas to complete this journey. He is a specialist in capital raising, liquidity and exits in the small and micro-cap space, with a unique perspective spanning multiple geographies, sectors, and public and private financing/exit alternatives. He has more than 25 years of corporate finance experience in New York and London for Barclays, Salomon Smith Barney, Citi and Schroders. His expertise includes executing more than 130 transactions including IPOs, listings, financings, and M&A in the U.S. and Europe, collectively valued over $100bn. He is also currently Advisory Board Chair for a US based microcap focused technology M&A advisory firm. He holds a First Class Honours Bachelors Degree in International Business and German from Aston University, a Masters Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Andrew is a partner in the Corporate & Securities and Mergers & Acquisition practices. 

Andrew represents public and private corporations, private equity funds, financial advisors, and boards of directors in mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic transactions, including tender offers, reorganizations, private placements, cross-border, and distressed M&A. He also regularly advises clients on federal securities laws compliance, corporate governance matters, anti-takeover measures, venture capital investments, and joint venture transactions, as well as general day-to-day corporate matters.

Andrew has significant experience in strategic transactions involving privately-held and family-owned businesses; having guided family ownership groups and their financial partners through multiple exit transactions, as well as representing private equity and strategic buyers in similar transactions.

Andrew has represented clients in a broad range of industries, including entertainment and sports, financial services, telecommunications, REITs and real estate, logistics, healthcare and life sciences, aerospace and defense manufacturing, energy, retail, and the Internet. Prior to practicing law, Andrew was a nationally-broadcast financial journalist for a Peabody Award-winning business news magazine.
