Speaker Bios:

Shannon Houde

Certified Executive Leadership Coach. Talent Advisor. Event Planner. Published Author

Shannon is an ICF-PCC certified executive leadership coach guiding change leaders to overcome their blocks and achieve stretch goals while balancing their human sustainability for more than 20 years. As founder of the impact sector’s first leadership and talent advisory company in 2009, she enables her clients to gain internal awareness and shape professional growth strategies that increase their interpersonal influence. Having started her career in recruiting, Shannon has coached global change leaders from 25 countries over 4,000 hours. She builds on her own roles as a team manager, a business coach and a sustainability management consultant at Adobe, Deloitte, BlackRock, and WWF. She partners with C-suite and evolving leaders across tech, financial services, and consulting with a focus on women leaders, diversity, wellbeing, ESG, and sustainability. As a published book author of 'Good Work', Shannon has also been featured in Fast Company, Forbes, The Guardian, GreenBiz, Huffington Post, Marie Claire, Real Leaders and SHRM. Shannon holds certifications in a suite of assessment tool including Leadership Circle Profile and Emotional Intelligence for Leaders, as well as in team coaching and neurodiversity. She earned an MBA from Thunderbird Graduate School in International Management and a BA in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. A multi-lingual American, she has lived 25 years in Chile, Italy, France, Switzerland, and the UK and recently moved to Atlanta, Georgia.

Jamie Turner

Jamie Turner is an internationally recognized author, CNN contributor, and

lecturer at Emory University. Organizations such as The Coca-Cola Company, Verizon, Microsoft, SAP and others invite Jamie to teach their executives about leadership and leadership development. He is the author of three popular business books (published by McGraw-Hill, Wiley, and Pearson). He is a regular contributor on CNN and other TV networks. And his Unspoken Rules of Leadership website and newsletter are read by thousands of executives around the world. Jamie has been profiled in one of the world’s best-selling textbooks and is a keynote speaker at trade shows, events, and corporations around the globe. He has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, HuﬀPost, Business Insider, Entrepreneur, Inc. and other prominent publications. Jamie is invited to speak at corporations and conferences around the world. In the past 5 years, he has delivered keynotes in more than a dozen countries including Dubai, the U.K., Italy, Norway, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and Germany.

Ed Haines, BABC-GA President; Executive Director and Senior Strategic Advisor, Jabian Consulting

Ed joined Jabian in 2019 as a Senior Strategic Advisor who is responsible for product development and go-to-market strategies. He is an experienced executive and operational leader who specializes in complex global programs, digital transformation, and IT delivery and service. He has led a number of global network transformation projects for multinationals, operational cost savings and process improvement initiatives, customer experience improvements, ERP transformations, and software design.

Ed previously worked at British Telecom’s Global Services division where he spent 15 years as an executive responsible for delivery, service, and operations for global network outsourcing contracts leading project management, service, operations, and customer success teams in the US and Europe. Prior to BT, he spent eight years as VP of IT and Operations for Yale Lock.

Ed graduated from Nottingham Trent University, UK with an honors degree in Mechanical Engineering including study and work abroad programs in Budapest, Hungary, Karlsruhe, and Munich, Germany. Ed is a long-time resident of Atlanta, GA after moving to the US in 1992.
